Complete with side guide seals and a rubber draught seal on the bottom edge, the curtain is double skinned for additional security and with the optional curtain insulation, heat and sound insulation are further improved.
The remote controlled option is delivered complete with internal light which is illuminated automatically when the door is operated to light the garage area for extra convenience. Additional safety is provided by internal photocell which senses an obstruction and immediately stops the door.
A secure, lockable, manual over ride system can also be specified at additional cost to enable emergency operation of the door during power failure.
Available in range of six colours, including woodgrain, the DMS Eurodor is the affordable garage door which will last for years. Providing reliable, quiet, smooth operation with many of the security features normally associated with industrial doors.
Heavy duty barrel components and guide sections are taken straight from our industrial range of roller shutters, whilst the curtain profile has been modified, strengthened and been given a more pleasing appearance.
Due to the completely redesigned head assembly, the DMS Eurodor requires minimum headroom providing maximum clear height. The design of the shutter curtain means that vehicles can be parked close to the door as, unlike most conventional garage doors, the door curtain does not swing outward towards the vehicle. Instead, the curtain is secured into a guide section and rises vertically and without the need to swing, damage to lower legs or vehicles is a thing of the past!

DMS Eurodor Remote Control Unit
Mains fed 240V control panel with radio receiver, integral timed courtesy light, push button station and 2 key fob transmitters are supplied. The key fob transmitters have a rolling code, which changes after each opening cycle for security and 'prevention of cloning'. Remote controls operate on a DTI approved frequency. The integral courtesy light allows sufficient time to welcome you safely inside.
DMS Eurodor Photocell
The magic eye fits either to the guide channel or the wall. An infrared safety beam then goes the full width of the door and returns via the polarising reflector. If the beam is broken whilst the Eurodor is closing then the motor stops immediately and returns to the fully open position.
DMS Eurodor Motor Unit
Each DMS Eurodor is delivered with a state of the art tubular motor (240 Volts) with a manual over-ride facility for use in the event of power failure, with every motor comes a detachable winding handle or low level mechanism as an optional extra.
DMS Eurodor Track System
Extruded aluminium mill finish guide channels 75mm in width 35mm depth, 3mm wall thickness (the strongest on the market) and a 47mm throat to ensure the product will withstand most windy conditions. Each guide contains a weather seal, which also significantly reduces the operating noise. Each guide can be powder coated as an optional extra.
DMS Eurodor End Plates and Head Unit
Each roller assembly is constructed from a 100mm round tube. The end plates are constructed from 3mm galvanised steel plate universally drilled to enable the motor to be either left or right hand operation. The nylon guide is attached via a stub axle to ensure smooth operation.
DMS Eurodor Locking Mechanism
To compliment the aesthetic looks of theDMS Eurodor, the drive down locking mechanism provided is one of the most practical and secure systems available leaving installation and adjustment a simple excercise.
DMS Eurodor Curtain and Bottom Rail
Constructed from 77mm insulated (with non-CFC foam) aluminium laths. Lateral movement is contained by nylon end locks on each alternate laths. To complement the strengths each Eurodor has a powder coated double wall extruded aluminium bottom rail containing a 30mm rubber seal to keep the elements out from the most uneven of garage floors.
DMS Eurodor Vision Panels
Eurodor's can have individual vision laths punched and glazed with tough Lexan inserts to allow natural light to enter the garage, but yet not affect the strength or security of the product.
Eurodor Colour Options
Bottom rail, powder coated guides and vision laths are a slightly different shade to most curtain colours. Colour options include:- Brown, Beige, White, Black, Woodgrain, Racing Green.
